JOB DESCRIPTION

We seek someone with a desire to work on tax processes and technology. The successful candidate will be working with the teams to deliver technology solutions that offer automation and efficiency to the firm as well as becoming a subject matter expert for tax data.

Purpose of role:

The Digital Compliance Team works closely with our client teams and our Tax Systems and Data Team driving innovation, the development of automation, data analytics and reporting process solutions to digitalize our tax offering. This includes providing more efficient processes internally as well as innovative client solutions.  You will process change initiatives within our tax offering by proactively reviewing and improving tax processes and tax technology.  The job will involve interaction as a Power Platform developer with our tax practitioners as well as our Tax System and Data team and the vendors of our technology tools.

Key responsibilities:

You will collaboratively support the Tax Systems and Data team by:

  • Presenting data using latest visualisation tools
  • Play a lead role in the digitisation of the tax business
  • Exploring, designing, and test technology solutions for the practice
  • Ensuring sound technical input in setting up and improving processes
  • Presenting training to the business on new technology solutions
  • Completing full user testing of new upgrades, and ensure support documentation is in place
  • Contributing to development of client facing portals to design the future of the platforms
  • Developing and implement new data automation routines to help automate and improve processes
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and providing high levels of client service
  • Working with internal SMEs to identify appropriate processes for automation
  • Presenting to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, from proposal meetings to handover, and maintaining an excellent relationship with these stakeholders.
  • Time management across multiple projects to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Ensuring internal procedures are adhered to and responsible for some departmental administrative task 

Candidate Profile

Key Experience/Skills:

Desirable experience in tax technology and tax prerequisites.

  • Strong and motivated team player
  • Keen eye for detail and inherent pride in quality of work done
  • Evidence of designing, developing, and testing automation workflows is a positive
  • Exposure to leadership and networking opportunities throughout Tax
  • Self-motivated, self-starter.
  • Working with business analysts to define and deliver business impacting projects.
