What will you be doing?

You’ll be responsible for overseeing and ensuring businesses transition and changes are implemented according to the agreed scope, timeframes and within budget/costings. You will also update management, personnel, and IM/Sponsors on any prospective transition related changes including chairing and minuting meetings where required.

To ensure success as a transition manager, you should be able to proactively spot transition challenges and solve them as a quickly as possible to minimise delays, associated costs, and risks.

As Transition Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Take ownership, drive, and Co-Ordinate all transitions within EPFL which are assigned to the change and transition team.
  • Maintain and version control change documentation requests and transition checklists.
  • Track and monitor changes and transitions.
  • Support the analysing of any changes and consult with both internal and external parties where required i.e., workshops and written to ensure scope and risk understood and signed off.
  • Par-take within the approval/schedule process for changes within EPFL.
  • Chair, par-take and minute the weekly internal transition meeting.
  • Conduct workshops/brainstorming sessions to provide team members with information on change(s) including seeking clarification and sign of their understanding.

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Previous experience in transition management and/or financial industry experience.
  • Excellent time and task managerial skills.
  • Be able to articulate considerations which need to be included as part of a service transition or change.
  • To possess and demonstrate Agile skills to transition and change.
  • Relevant professional qualification(s) desirable e.g., CISI Investment Operations Certificate.
