What will you be doing?

We’re seeking a talented individual to join our FP Advisory Operations team in Leeds, which is responsible for providing a first-class onboarding service for clients transferring to the business from retiring IFA/firms by accurately processing and keying in client and policy data, creation of data feeds to ensure plan values are updated and liaison with third party product providers to expedite policy transfers of agency. This will include daily maintenance of excel worksheets to track responses.

As Operations Executive - RIFA Onboarding, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee Ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard and work produced within deadlines and that any anomalies are reported to your line manager within agreed timescales.
  • Ensure that personal and team KPI’s / KRI’s / MIR are met, assist in collation of MI highlighting any issues to management.
  • Respond to telephone and email enquiries in a timely professional manner, liaising with fund managers and external parties where relevant and in a timely manner, escalating any issues where relevant.
  • Log, maintain and respond to written client enquiries in a timely manner, ensuring all client and external documents are relevant and up to date.
  • Contribute to the review of team tasks, identifying improvements with a view to enhancing client service. Participate in, and contribute to, any ad-hoc project-related work where necessary.
  • Adopt a high-quality culture to minimise errors and ensuring high quality service levels are delivered.
  • Ensuring all work is with a high level of accuracy, including data input, document checking and payments, escalating to manager or relevant department where necessary.
  • Support and provide cover for other members of the team and wider department as and when required.
  • Assist with training new recruits to the team in BAU activities, acting as a positive role model.
  • Ensure that fair treatment of clients is at the forefront of all activities and that all interactions are conducted in an open and transparent manner.
  • Demonstrate an understanding and application of the Group's Conduct Risk Framework Ensure that knowledge and skills are maintained and developed in line with industry, regulatory and internal requirements by undertaking regular and appropriate continuous professional development (CPD).
  • Operate in accordance with division's policies and procedures manuals.

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Experience gained within a financial services institution especially in Operations is advantageous but not essential.
  • Demonstrable interest in financial services and / or investment management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally to various, including senior audiences.
  • Ability to work well in a team but concurrently comfortable to work individually.
  • Demonstrate ability to understand and summarise complex information in a professional and concise manner.
  • Ability to solve problems quickly.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to organise workloads effectively and meet tight deadlines.
  • Responding to queries from both internal and external parties in a timely manner and providing a high level of customer service both internally and externally.
