What will you be doing?

We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Tax team, in our London hub.

As a Partner and Employment Tax Assistant, you will help with the provision of internal tax compliance services, assist with administrative matters and to provide employment tax support

As a Partner and Employment Tax Assistant, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Completion of Tax returns for individuals and trusts – such as prioritising workload, accurate and clear working papers, and organisation of source data.
  • Annual compliance checks - Ensuring tax manual procedures are complied with, tax payments made promptly and correctly, and all review forms properly completed.
  • Client administration - Ensuring all files in good order, archiving is up to date.
  • Employment Tax - Supporting the Associate Director as required. This would include any task such as assisting with the PSA process and return, the P11D process and returns, and understanding the impact of internationally mobile employees.
  • Training - Attend internal courses, including tax conference as required

To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:

  • Strong academic background. Studying towards or ATT qualified desirabl
  • High standard of written and oral communication with a sense of client service
  • Enthusiastic, willing to develop and a good team player
  • Good planning and organising skills, to ensure that all deadlines are met, and that all paperwork received is properly processed
  • IT literate, essential for completion of tax returns and fulfilment of regular duties
  • The ability to be client focused, remember importance of service to client especially on routine matters
